The Open-Core Foundation
Two open-source projects form the technical foundation of Mahoosuc OS. Both are available for teams that want to build their own HITL governance infrastructure.
The HITL Execution Runtime
The Approval Layer is the consent layer — the mechanism by which humans approve, challenge, or override AI proposals before they execute. It is the core runtime for human-in-the-loop governance.

Open-Source Prompt Security and Governance
Open-source prompt security and governance layer. Validates prompt inputs and outputs against policy rules before they reach or leave an AI model. The entry point for "Learn + Build Yourself" tier clients.

- Input/output filtering with configurable rule sets
- Observable: all events are logged and queryable
- Deployable on-prem or VPS
- Apache 2.0 license
What's Open, What's Managed
Mahoosuc OS uses an open-core model. The foundation layer is open-source and available to anyone. The operational layer — the 62 specialized agents, the 4 beta products, the explicit roadmap, the compound learning system, and the operator partnership — is service-managed.
